Production has wrapped on Intermedium, a short film written and produced by Taylor, and directed by Emmy Award winner Erik Bloomquist. Conceived as a CW-style merging of Casper and La La Land, the film centers on an obsessive-compulsive teenage girl (Emily Keefe) who moves into a new home and butts heads with the ghost of the boy who lived there prior (Beau Minniear). Rudd Anderson and Chris Lindsay-Abaire round out the cast. The film also features an original song from up-and-coming songwriting team Ben Chavez and Yianni Papadimos (The Cobalteans, Elysium: An American Fable, Wright).

Playground Lessons is a series of vignettes devised by an ensemble of 10 queer-identifying artists that ask the question: "Can you see yourself in my experience?" Taylor was part of this ensemble, which performed at the Alchemical Theatre Laboratory in NYC and donated all ticket sale proceeds to The Trevor Project and Live Out Loud. Creator Erik Bloomquist received awards for both Outstanding Direction and Outstanding Writing, while co-star Nick Moss took home the award for Outstanding Performer. The Illusory Adventures of a Dreamer closed out its run at the 2016 International Fringe Festival; for his performance as Peer Gynt, Taylor was awarded with an "Excellence in Acting" award by a panel of thirty industry professionals—an honor only given to four actors this year. Praise for his "grounded" performance included singling out his "defiant innocence" and "wide-eyed earnestness." The cast and crew of The Cobblestone Corridor went to ConnectiCon in Hartford, CT for an advance screening of the first episode, followed by a talkback panel. Not only did the episode look amazing, but it was received very well—the feedback and questions from the audience members only helped solidify the excitement surrounding this series' release this October!

Taylor played the roles of Dad and Elya Yelnats in PITS! The Unauthorized Holes Musical at the Clarion Theatre. Written, produced and performed by current and former NYU students, this self-aware parody of Louis Sachar's beloved young adult novel oversold every one of its performances. Taylor performed in a staged reading of W. Gregory Nissen's operetta Martin Eden, based off Jack London's novel of the same name. The performances were at the National Opera Center and included a cast of up-and-coming talents as well as Equity veterans. Taylor played Arthur Morse, the antagonistic older brother of the female lead, Ruth (played by Michelle Foard/AEA).
